Marldon is a small Devon village nestling in the folds of the South Hams with the traditional ancient church and pub overlooking the village cricket field. The Church House Inn is a delightful village pub and is something of a find.
Devon Life Good Pub Guide
This multi award winning Grade 2 listed pub was the first pub in Devon to be listed in the Michelin Pub Guide and has been voted Devon's Best Country Pub by readers of Devon Life magazine. The awards don't stop there, the Pub have also been voted Devon's Dining Pub of the Year (2013) by the Good Pub Guide. The Church House Inn at Marldon was originally built around 1400 and gave accommodation to the artisans working on the church, after which it became the meeting house for the church congregation and finally the Village Inn
