Sparkling Success for Lyme Bay Winery

Devon based Lyme Bay Winery is celebrating after collecting Gold for its Classic Cuvée English wine at the Quality Drinks Awards 2017.  Hosted at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in London, these awards are designed to recognise excellence for wine, spirits and beer in UK grocery outlets.

Launched in 1979, the Quality Drinks Awards have an expert judging panel comprised of chefs, chef-lecturers, home economists, food writers, and consultants, restaurateurs, food technologists and representatives from regional food groups, all of whom bring their extensive knowledge to bear in the process.  The Quality Food Awards are unique in that they reward great tasting products, with the finest of flavours, textures and aromas.

Commenting on the win, James Lambert, managing director of Lyme Bay Winery says: “We’ve had an outstanding response to our English wine portfolio and are thrilled with our Quality Drinks award! It is a fantastic achievement and we are immensely proud of our hardworking team who enable us to produce award-winning English wine.”
